Caroline Ris-Grootveld started Snuff Bottle Collection in 2021 – originated at the crossroads of art and technology. Her late father left a collection of inside painted Chinese snuff bottles. Now she continues her father’s legacy in the form of Art Photography of this private art collection.
Through the enormous enlargements of the tiny snuff bottles, you realize how intricately the artist has painted these objects from the inside. She advises on the art images, since so many have hidden meanings. By spreading knowledge and awareness she hopes appreciation of these exquisite art objects and the artists behind their creation will increase.
